History & Lore of The Cottages:
In 1938 the cottage was built as one single homestead and owned by a botanist of sorts. The Botanist is said to have planted a wide variety of exotic flora all around the grounds. From time to time, flowers sprout up from places they were never planted and species of non-native plants can be found growing in clusters in the woodland around the property. The cottages were renovated in 2019 into the quaint nod to the quiet-corner of CT that you find today.

The Cottages were fully renovated in 2019. 'The Blue House' at the cottages is fully furnished and features 10' vaulted ceilings, A/C, a wood burning fireplace and hardwood floors throughout. Kitchen features quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, garbage disposal and full-sized washer/dryer in unit. Common area includes sofa, coffee table, dining table and chairs, and an ultra-high-def flat screen TV. Bedrooms each have queen-sized platform beds, nightstands and dressers. Two of the four bedrooms have skylights. European-style bath features a rain-head shower and separate toilet room. Outside there is a large yard, fire pit, picnic table, grill and wrap around patio.
All you need to bring is a queen-sized mattress, linens and kitchenware.
